We aim to create an outdoor space for you, which meets your needs and aspirations. Each project follows a similar process and is based around your brief.
The cost of a garden design is quickly recovered. The initial concepts allow for problems to be solved before even thinking about getting a spade out, so a design can really save you money. If you plan to complete the work in stages, having a detailed drawing allows you to plan the work as your budget allows. An initial site visit to discuss your needs and ideas can be arranged, at which an estimate of the design fee for your garden can be made.
Prior to this visit, it may be helpful if you could:
· discuss the garden with all members of the household to get an idea of everyone’s wishes and needs
· complete and return the questionnaire and, if possible, put a sum in for your budget. Although this is sometimes difficult to know, it's helpful at the design stage
· please dig out any existing drawings of the garden or house you may have
Once the commission has been confirmed in writing, work commences on the drawings for your garden. A concept plan for your approval is produced, after which a detailed layout plan is produced, showing landscape features such as ponds, paths, terraces, pergolas, etc. Material and construction details, where appropriate, will be supplied. Planting plans detailing exact plants, and quantities, will be quoted for once the design plan has been approved.
Fees are payable on receipt of drawings. Once the plan has been finalised, costs for build can be obtained. We offer a complete design and build service and can quote at this stage.
